THE ORGANIZATION

The Jr Lions football program is a Non Profit Organization created to improve the experience of Middle School athletes in the Fort Zumwalt East High School football program. The program is endorsed and highly recommended by the high school football department, but is not funded or staffed by Fort Zumwalt East High School in any way.  The program is made up entirely of our organization’s volunteer parents, who work closely with the high school football staff.

PURPOSE of the PROGRAM
To prepare Middle School athletes for High School Football by teaching the fundamentals and exposing them to the Fort Zumwalt East football system.  Emphasis is placed on fundamentals, proper technique and attitude. This is your chance to learn the offense and defense used at the high school level, and to get noticed by the high school coaching staff, before you enter Freshman football.

SIGN UP INFORMATION 

All players MUST be future Fort Zumwalt East High school students

Tackle Football Cost: $125 (includes game jersey you keep) Practice begins August 1st 2009

Flag Football Cost: $50 Runs April thru May dates TBD.

Summer Football Camp hosted by FZE High School coaching staff

Cost: $40 June 8-11th 3-5 grade 4pm-6 pm, 6th-8th grade 6pm-8pm

Tackle Football Players must have proof of insurance and a physical before August 1st 2009
